Freedom High School opened its doors on Thursday, April 7, to the approximately 500 eighth graders for the Freshman Expo.

It’s been three years since rising ninth graders were able to visit the school. Students were greeted by the FHS Marching Band and FELT members ready to give them a tour of the school. Principal Neelum Chaudhry and SCA president Aaron Weidner welcomed the visitors. The eighth graders were entertained by the Freedom chorus and theater students. Before heading to the club and athletic fairs, students watched videos from SCA officer candidates.

At the end of the trip, students participated in their first pep rally as future Eagles. The FHS Dance Team, K-Pop and Bollywood Beats performed.
