FHS Gymnastics Team Competes at Districts
Duncan Qualifies for Regionals

On Feb. 2, the Freedom High School gymnastics team competed in the 6B Districts competition. This was a home meet and the team competed against Battlefield, Osbourn Park, Gainesville, John Champe and Patriot high schools.
FHS senior Taylor Duncan team placed 6th place on vault, which qualified her for regionals. The teams that qualified for regionals were Battlefield, Patriot and John Champe high schools. This is the first time in more than years that the FHS gymnastics team has not qualified for regionals, as they have been either State Champs or State runner-ups from the 2015 season to the 2022 season.
