As of Sept. 23, it is now officially fall and what better way to spend your time and money this season, other than heading over to Starbucks? On Aug. 24, Starbucks launched its new fall menu as well as an additional two new drinks. Starbucks has added an Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte and the Iced Apple Crisp Oat Milk Shaken Espresso. However, the well known and world renown Pumpkin Spice Latte is bringing the big bucks for Starbucks at this time of year.
“I am very excited for pumpkin spice season,” said sophomore Ayana Behl.
As if Starbucks doesn’t bring enough business as it is, every Thursday of September they have a buy one get one drink promotion. This deal is not stopping Starbucks from making money as the pumpkin spice latte itself has made $802 million dollars. Those millions of dollars don’t even include the profit from all the other fall drinks that Starbucks offer.
While this time of year seems to be all about Pumpkin Spice, people haven’t forgotten about the other special drinks that come out for this season. But of course there’s always the debate of which drink is truly the best. Freedom students share their opinion on their favorite drink.
