On Sept. 22 2023, Freedom High School’s football team played against Battlefield High School with a final score of 0-40. FHS had successfully held Battlefield back until the fourth quarter. However, in the efforts of holding Battlefield back, there were many injured players who were being treated on the sidelines and some even had broken bones. Many of the players who were benched continued cheering for their peers as they played in the field demonstrating an enthusiastic school spirit.
