On Thursday, October 12, Freedom High School’s National Honor Society held its induction for its new members. A total of 120 members were inducted at the event.
The Honor Society’s officers, Mason Ramboyong, Hailey Chong, Isabella Lopez and Nate Jenkins called the names of all of the inductees for the year. Each came onto stage and shook hands with the officers, NHS teacher sponsors, Principal Neelum Chaudhry.
After all names were called, the newly inducted members circled around the auditorium with candles and recited the NHS pledge. After successfully being inducted, all inductees signed the NHS society book, which all past Freedom High School National Honor Society members have signed.
The event ended with the throwing of balloons and the giving of the celebratory cake.
