On Nov. 2, the Freedom Band had their first concert of the 2023-2024 school year at Freedom. The bands that performed include the Concert Band, Wind Symphony and Artist Wind Ensemble. All three bands were conducted by Jonathan Schiffler.
The songs that the Concert Band performed were Union March, Too Beautiful for Words, Soldiers’ Procession and Sword Dance and the final song was To the Moon. Wind Symphony performed La Banda Nascente, Jefferson County Overture, The Battle Pavane and Critical Mass. The final band, the Artist Wind Ensemble performed the English Folk Song Suite and the last song that was performed was See Rock City.
