As spring break approaches, students throughout Freedom High School are faced with a dilemma: to travel or to stay put?
While some are quick to pack their bags for sun-soaked destinations, while others opt for a staycation. Spring break offers a brief yet rejuvenating escape from academics.
Let’s dive into the ways in which Freedom students are embracing their weekoff.
“Over the break, I am traveling to Puerto Rico for the first time,” said senior Kayla Waterfield.
Some students at Freedom High School are ecstatically preparing for their much-anticipated vacations.
Many Freedom students are using this occasion to take their major trips for the 2024 year.
Whether they’re flying off to new locations, revisiting annual favorites or simply in favor of warm weather getaways, the Freedom community is psyched up.
For many, this break offers the opportunity to unwind, recharge, and encounter bonding moments creating everlasting memories with friends and family.
While these students are quickly swapping their backpacks for suitcases, others are opting for a quieter break closer to home.
“My family is staying home for spring break I am ready to relax from all the work,” said sophomore Ayana Behl.
For individuals such as Behl, the break offers a precious opportunity to take a break from the pressures of overloading academic responsibilities.
On the sports front, some students are seizing the chance to stay back on honing their athletic skills.
“This spring break will allow to focus all my attention on my sport,” said sophomore Joshua Johnson.
