The lights dimmed and senior Ben Goldberger took the stage. “Welcome to Soda Shop everyone!”

On Nov. 16, the Freedom High School Tri-M Honor Society put on their annual fall soda shop. For that evening, the library was no longer for books, but it became a stage, where students and parents alike listened to great performances by students from all grade levels. The night kicked off with a soulful performance by seniors Grace Little and Carter Levin of Jason Mraz’s “Lucky.” Next up was junior Julia Leipertz, who performed a captivating cover of “Somewhere That’s Green,” originally from the musical “Little Shop of Horrors.” Junior Fiamma Rossini performed her original song “What I Love About You,” which she dedicated to her boyfriend.

Throughout the night all performers sat together side stage, encouraging and cheering each other on. After each song there was a huge round of applause, as everyone was so in awe of all the amazing talent.
