On Nov. 21, from 7-8:30 p.m. Freedom confirmed the completion of months of construction by hosting the Grand Opening of the New Library. At this event, there were activities such as the makerspace activity of making a twine pumpkin and there was also scavenger hunt bingo. FHS staff that were present at the event had a competition to see who could finish the library version of bingo first. Light music that was provided by FHS Band and Orchestra students was played on a speaker.
There were also free light beverages such as water bottles as well as coffee and hot chocolate provided by the library bean cart. Snacks such as beef meatballs, florentine and three cheese mini quiches, spanakopita, butter pecan meltaways and butter cookies were also provided.
