On April 30, from 7-9 p.m. Freedom High School held its 14th annual International Festival. The Festival was composed of 19 cultural acts with a cultural fashion show in between, where students and staff took turns displaying their traditional clothing from different countries.
The performances included Bollywood Beats, Noelle Alexander, Afghan Attan, African Student Association, Chinese Vocal Performer, Nepali Student Association, STEP Team Performance, Carnatic Vocal Performance, Wushu, Itken Pois by Bella Voce, Baile Inolvidable by LSA, Bharatanatyam Performance, Black Student Association, Vietnamese Violin Solo, Bollywood Duet, Dance Dhamaka and K-POP Dance Club.
The fashion show honored clothing from the cultures of Afghanistan, Cameroon, China, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Ireland, Italy, Korea, Kurdistan, Liberia, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, Uganda, US Virgin Islands, Vietnam, Yemen and Zambia.
