On May 13, from 6-7 p.m. Freedom High School held an Art Show for seniors to showcase their best accomplishments in art. Seniors were either given a horizontal or vertical board to decorate. The style was up to the vision of the artist. All of the boards could be seen in the main upstairs hallways in addition to the 3-D Art Display being right outside of the counselors’ office.
In preparation for this event, each senior was given a different size board depending on how many years of art classes they participated in. For example, if a senior took one year of art then they were given one fourth of a quarter of a board, if they took two years then they received one half of a board, and if they took more than three years then they were given a full board.
There were thirty two seniors who participated in the art show which were Tanvi Balaji, Calyna Chen, Jay Pensler-Diaz, Skylar Leonard, Brogan Wyman, Marisol Ayala-Arano, Duke Cardenas, Allene Khweis, Kelvin O’Neil, Keshika Rayamajhi, Laura Salcedo, Sami Teran, Anna Vasquez-Amaya, Leilah Cardenas, Daniel Choi, Natalie Davis, Isabelle Gonzaga, Amira Sallins-Alford, Brianna Stoddard, Becca Laub, Joseph Kim, Saayli Patwardhan, Matthew Pastilong, Alyvia Passey, Hainne Lim, Caela Compoverde, Dahong Kim, Sara Khan, Erva Akoglan, Shayla Brown, Anuska Danal and Vy Dang.
