There are many great places to spend winter break, but perhaps the most unique and exhilarating is Great Britain. Consisting of England, Scotland and Wales, this European island boasts some of the most exciting tourist attractions.
The first place I’d like to highlight is London. England’s capital has an array of spectacles, all within a city where ancient architectures coexist with modern skyscrapers. In addition to Big Ben and the London Eye, must-sees in London include Soho, The Tower Bridge and Trafalgar Square.
If you’re not much of a city person, I recommend England’s countryside. In Hampshire, ample farmland meets small quiet villages.
Last but certainly not least, Scotland’s capital is also quite magnificent. Edinburgh is enriched with history and contains some of the most beautiful scenery in the world.
From the green countryside to the medieval marvels, Great Britain is a wonderful place to spend the holidays.
