On Aug. 25 2023, Freedom High School had its first pep rally of the 2023-2024 school year, with the theme being black out. Many FHS students wore black clothing and accessories to show their school spirit and prepare for the football game against Lightridge High School later that day at 7 p.m.

The pep rally was a small one, only taking place for 30 minutes, but was able to host two pep rally games, a FHS dance team performance, and a FHS cheer performance. Sophomores won the cup game, while juniors won the confetti game.
