Many students showcased their creativity during homecoming spirit week and hallway decorating. During homecoming spirit week, students dressed up for “Neon Out!” on Monday, Oct. 2, “Grill Master vs. Soccer Parent” on Tuesday, Oct. 3, “Rhyme Without Reason” on Wednesday, Oct. 4, class theme day on Thursday, Oct. 5 and class color day on Friday, Oct. 6.
For theme day, the freshmen dressed up in “Western” style clothing, the sophomores dressed up for “Musicals,” the juniors dressed up for “Fantasy” and the seniors dressed up for “Action” to display the Golden Globe theme for homecoming. For class color day, freshmen dressed up in gray, sophomores dressed up in white, juniors dressed up in yellow and seniors dressed up in black.
Many students also participated in hallway decorating, which was a friendly competition to encourage more support for each grade’s homecoming theme. Students stayed after school to decorate their hallways and some prepared to be actors for their hallway.
At the end of homecoming week, the senior class won hallway decorating and earned the most spirit points overall.
