On Nov. 6 at 6:15 p.m., Freedom hosted the Performing Arts Cluster Concert showcasing the talent of all of Freedom High School and J. Michael Lunsford Middle School’s performing arts and the combined voices of Cardinal Ridge, Hutchison Farm, Liberty and Little River Elementary School Choirs. The concert started off with all of the musicians performing the Star Spangled Banner.
Freedom Orchestra and Lunsford Orchestra Club performed Shut Up and Dance which was directed by Adrienne Caravan. Freedom and Lunsford Mixed Choirs performed Beautiful Creatures and Double Trouble, directed by Melissa Payes and Marie Knight. Freedom and Lunsford Guitar performed Carol of the Bells, directed by Jared Eastridge and Sam Wong. Freedom and Lunsford Artist Wind Ensembles performed Running of the Bells while being directed by Andrew Manning and Juan Andujar. The singers of Cardinal Ridge, Hutchison Farm, Liberty and Little River Elementary Schools sang Count on Me.
Freedom Chorus sang “Take Me to the Water,” directed by Marie Knight. Freedom Guitar played “Dust in the Wind,” directed by Sam Wong. Freedom Orchestra performed “Thriller,” conducted by Lillian Green and Band performed “Forest for the Trees,” conducted by Jonathan Schiffler. All performers concluded the concert with the song, I’m Still Standing.
