On Mar. 6, the Freedom Chorus performed a Pre-Assessment Concert at FHS in preparation for their assessment concert on the March 15 at Briar Woods High School, where they will be judged thoroughly. The choirs that performed include the Lunsford 8th Grade Choir, Treble Choir, Bass Choir, Bella Voce and Advanced Mix. All five choirs were instructed by Marie Knight.
The songs that the Lunsford 8th Grade Choir sang were Why Does the Willow Weep and Closer to the Flame. Treble Choir sang Windflowers and Bonse Aba and Bass Choir sang Carry Me Home and Cry Havoc. Bella Voce sang the Woman to this Hour and JAM. The final choir, advanced mixed, sang Jenny and Miniyama Nayo.
